The main objects of the Society shall be as follows
To organise independent Schools in Chandigarh as well as outside Chandigarh to promote the cause of education into a body.
To help organise member Schools for raising their standards by holding educational seminars, suggesting/recommending books, curriculum development and syllabi, sharing ideas through expert guidance at the In-service Training Courses, and to arrange visits of Principals and other specialists to enrich the member Schools.
To organise Sports Meets, other cultural and social competitions etc. etc. of the member Schools and to represent at various educational authorities such as the State Education Department, Central Board of Secondary Education, Punjab School Education Board, Indian Council for Secondary Education and other relevant educational authorities such as Sports Authority of India.
To keep lien with various educational authorities and institutions concerned with educational and welfare activities and such other bodies that would help enriching member Schools of the Association.
To develop scientific temper by holding science talent examination, work-shops in lien with NCERT, CBSE and so forth.
To organise cultural, literary and sports camps, which would give the students of member Schools an opportunity to interact on the playgrounds and in the sphere of the fine arts etc.
To act as Governors, Trustees or Managers or any property of legacy, gift, for educational purposes lawfully vested in the Association and to apply donations, loans and beneficence from time to time.
To file petitions in the Courts of law as well as to redress grievances through the executive and administrative machinery to safeguard the interests of member Schools.
To borrow money from the Banks/ and other financial agencies to set up teacher’s Centers and permanent offices of the Association.
To do all such other things as are incidental and conducive to the attainment of objects mentioned above.
To familiarise the member regarding the latest developments in Educational Process within India and Overseas by organising National as well as International tours and exchange programmes.
To honour and felicitate eminent educationists and such other dignitaries who would enhance image of the Association.
